Cobar Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to undertake a 12-month traineeship. You will be required to complete a Certificate III Business Administration via correspondence with a registered training organisation.

In this position you will learn all administrative aspects associated with Council’s engineering functions including customer service, clerical duties, word processing, data entry, procurement and records.

Employment with Council is in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. This full-time, fixed term position is classified as Operational Band 1 with wages ($18.15-$21.22/hr) dependent on the age, educational qualifications and experience of the candidate, working a 9-day fortnight, 35 hours a week.
